1700th Anniversary 1st Council of Nicaea: May 2025

The first seven ecumenical councils of the Christian Church occurred from 325 AD to 787 AD.  They were an effort by the early church to solve evolving discrepancies (heresies) among Christian communities as to the nature of Christ, the Trinity and many other foundational theological concepts.

The 1700th anniversary of the first council and the Nicaea Creed is close upon us!
