Duluth Trip
My friend Beni came up from Amarillo Texas!
Beni is really from Jerusalem, but is currently staying in Texas. I met Beni on a trip to Turkey this last May. He is a pilot, photographer and he has great stories about working all over the world. Beni is the drone pilot that encouraged me to get a drone.
Beni came up to Minnesota because there is a possibility that he will not be able to go to Italy and I might need to use my drone. Also Margery and I have been begging him to come visit.
So where do you take an Israeli friend, currently staying in Texas, who has not been to Minnesota? Further north! We went to Duluth in the last days of December durning below zero temperatures and awful wind chill just to have something to “film.”
We had a great trip. And Beni is a professional photographer and any time flying with him is amazing, educational and fun! He loved the temperatures and ice. He took pictures of snowblowers and people shoveling. We walked on the ice in the harbor of Duluth to see people ice fishing. He got out of the car in a snowbank and loved it.
Beni also captured a ship coming through the lift bridge at just the right time.
