Istanbul - First Night

We made it safely to Istanbul and met up with the entire group. There was an anxious 10 or 15 minutes in passport control when they were unable to get our passports to scan and called a police officer to assist! But they apparently decided we aren’t too much of a risk and they allowed us to enter the country. Included some pictures from a long layover in the Amsterdam airport, some cake deserts, and pickled everything shop!
Dinner at a little Tavuk (chicken) cafe, a short walk around the area of our hotel and we are ready to sleep! But no day in Istanbul would be complete without some Baclava! #turkey #istanbul #baclava
