Via Tauri

Via Tauri near Assos Turkey. The Via Tauri is the Roman road that Paul walked from Alexander Troas to Assos at the end of his third missionary journey. We knew we were in the area and after using satellite images we found it!! This was a bit of a trial for our patient and long suffering driver, but a real highlight for us! In small sections the road exists the same as it did back in St. Paul’s day (approx 50 AD). The Roman Roads have oddly given me a strong connection to St. Paul.
