Hip Surgery & Israel 2022 Trip

We were in the beginning stages of planning a personal trip back to Israel in October of 2022 Turns out that ticket prices, vacation/work, and a hip replacement surgery got in the way! (Yes I just had hip replacement surgery - I am old. And my second hip is scheduled for Oct 4th. I am wondering if both hips are replaced if that makes me like the bionic man (that dates me too).

We are still planning and looking for site suggestions. The trip is not cancelled!!! We ARE going in the fall of 2023!!!

When we do go, it looks like Margery, Jacob and I will be renting a car so we can see the Galilee, Herodium, Masada, Dead Sea and then spend several days in Jerusalem.

One of the things I am learning is to spend more “quiet time” in each site. Reading scriptures and praying at these locations is amazing. The people watching is amazing as well!!
