I accidentally stumbled upon this sculpture park while being lost in part of NE Minneapolis. It feels like it has moved from its original location - although I have no idea how they would move these pieces. I am always looking for different things to post and take pictures of and this fits the bill. To me it has a very strong vibe of Tim burtons Christmas/halloween movie. Abstract shapes almost stitched together with rebar. I found this description: the small, perpetually under construction sculpture park that lies beyond the railroad tracks. Artist Zoran Mojsilov, a Belgrade-born sculptor and illustrator has made the park his pet project over the years, placing his minimal yet strong stone sculpture works, held together with delicate steel rods in the off-the-beaten-path lot. Take a spin through, bring a picnic, and if you’re lucky, the charismatic eastern European artist himself may make an appearance. Unfortunately he was not here the day I stopped.
