Sea of Galilee. Magdala. COVID19
It stormed last night on the Sea of Galilee!! Just like in the gospels. This morning we were allowed to sleep in (for the first time) and then had a class to get us caught up on scriptures and events connected with sites we visited yesterday.
We are getting packed this morning as well (tonight we will have a very short night at hotel).
On our way back to Jerusalem we stopped to see the archeological site of Magdala (home of Mary Magdalene and an interesting cross section of Jewish and early Christian faith).
We have had some flight changes, but currently we are booked to get home late Saturday evening!! Eager to get home.
COVID19 is just now becoming a reality for those of us on the trip. There is some question as to whether we will be able to enter the US after our connection in Europe. I think we are going home to a changed world.
