Yesterday I did a post of the church of the Holy Sepulcher. It seems I may have inadvertently stumbled into some controversy about an issue I thought was long resolved.
One of the things I love about this group is our dedication to God’s Word, Archaeology and History.
So in a spirit of fairness I also have a few pictures of the Garden Tomb. And no matter what your conclusion, it is a beautiful setting that presents a much different experience than the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
The organization maintaining the Garden Tomb refrains from claiming that this is the authentic tomb of Jesus, while pointing out the similarities with the site described in the Bible, and the fact that the Garden Tomb better preserves its ancient look.
And like many have said we do not worship the site of either location.
