Memories of Stacy Dam, Stacy Minnesota. I moved to Minnesota some 25 years ago with four young children. Our church has members who own a Christmas Tree Farm near the Stacy Dam. Each year they would do hayrides for the Sunday School Kids and we would ride back to this dam and stop and play near the waters edge - some kids in the water! Very fond memories. The dam has not changed much. I tied to look up some history, it was built in 1964. It is part of the Carlos Avery Nature Area. The local historical society did some searching for me, but don’t come up with anything else. If you know the history let me know! We had a very odd snow storm the day before I took these pictures and I don’t recommend driving back into the dam with snow.
